Thank you for your question. Back To The Old (School) Maple and Bug Extermination will arrive on May 31st, 2012. The Bounty Hunter Event will start on June 6th, 2012.

COMING MAY 31, 2012

As of our May 31st update, we will be disabling the ability to buy and sell items on the Maple Trading System (MTS). Items that are still listed prior to the update will be retrievable after the game servers are brought back up, and you have until the rest of the summer to remove any items from your MTS inventory.

We’ll also be removing World Transfer and Name Change tickets from the Cash Shop. Any requests pending before the game servers are brought down on May 31st will still be processed.

In our continuing efforts to protect the security of our players and integrity of the game economy, we had to remove these systems due to the malicious activity on the part of some users, which was unfortunately affecting the service as a whole in a very negative way. We shall be working on improving these systems, and hope to return them to the game at a later point in time. In the meantime, be sure to grab your items from the MTS before it closes!

We will be performing a scheduled server maintenance beginning on May 23, 2012. The maintenance will last approximately three hours.

• Make sure your character is alive.

Please do not engage in any activity in the moments before and after Hot Time. Simply relax!

• Avoid performing graphically intensive skills. Remaining still is best.
• Avoid Maplers or monsters that might be performing graphically intensive skills.
• Talk to Cassandra directly if your inventory is full.

Please be aware that although the servers are set to Pacific time, there can sometimes be variations in the exact server time between worlds. It is strongly recommended that you log in well before the event is scheduled and remain logged in even if you do not receive the gift box at exactly 2:30 PM Pacific.

We have become aware of an issue where players have been wrongfully auto-banned for hacking following our May 16 maintenance. We addressed it with our developers earlier today, and have applied a fix to our service.

• The Aran skill Combo Drain does not work in PvP.
• Romeo & Juliet PQ: The jar cannot be filled in the Unpleasant Lab map.
• Remnant of the Goddess PQ: The statue cannot be repaired.
• Forest of Poison Haze PQ: The item Concentrated Poison is not changed into Diluted Poison when the stone bug is killed above the water pool.
• Moon Bunny PQ: Primrose Seeds cannot be planted.
• The Dark Force packages list incorrect individual prices for the gloves and the cape. However, the total package price is correct.
• Several of the Maple Beryl weapons incorrectly list the “8th Anniversary” in their description text.
• The item “Joyous 7th Dark Scroll for Accessory for Magic Att 20%” incorrectly said it raises Weapon Attack.
• The Mercedes’ skill “Ishtar’s Ring” is displayed incorrectly on other players’ screens.
• Ghost Stumps stopped spawning in Gusty Peak.
• Yeti & Pepes stopped spawning in Sharp Cliff 3.
• Some players experience lag in Rising Star Hall.

GM Hide & Seek Event - Saturday, May 19

GMs are shy creatures that hide among the populace and only appear once in a blue moon. Now, during the month of celebration for the Lucky 7th Mapleversary, the GMs are in the mood for a little Hide and Seek, and finding one could net you NX!

During the designated event time, GMs will smega to the world with hints of their location. If you find a GM, take a screenshot and submit it on our forum thread for a chance to win NX. The GMs won’t be able to stay long, so once found, they will hide again until another lucky Mapler finds them.

Thank you for your question. I assume you mean the maple leaves effect around the character in which you require the full set to activate. The green effect is for the beryl maple equipment and the red effect is for crimson maple equipment.
